Liniker

Born in Araraquara, interior of São Paulo, singer and songwriter Liniker Barros has been flirting with art since she was a little girl. She used to see her mother and uncles in samba rock circles, something that has become a seed to germinate later on. She studied at Escola Livre de Teatro, in Santo André, the place responsible for showing her many of her artistic layers. In 2015, the artist became known in Brazil and worldwide by making the EP “Cru” available on the internet, released under the nickname “Liniker e os Caramelows”.

Since then, she has toured the country and the world, released the albums “Remonta” (2016) and “Goela Abaixo” (2019 – Latin Grammy nominee). Now, she invests in her solo and acting careers. In 2021, she played the protagonist Cassandra in the series “Manhãs de Setembro”, on Amazon Prime Video. Also, the performance resulted in Liniker being chosen - by Glamour magazine - as the game changer in the actress category of the Geração Glamour awards. That year, the artist also released her first solo album, “Índigo Borboleta Anil”, which features Milton Nascimento, Orquestra Jazz Sinfônica, Letieres Leite and Orkestra Rumpilezz, among others.
