DJ, Event Curator, Producer, and Radio Show Host, Kwey has an eclectic ear for sound.

Kwey’s versatility, and musical influences stem from his Ghanaian roots and his love for music. Kwey seeks to create experiences, and build community through his art. As a DJ/producer, he pushes beyond the boundaries of genres, melding a range of sounds from afro, jazz, UK Garage, Alte, hip-hop, and house.

Out of curiosity and passion Kwey has always kept his ear to the ground listening for current sounds and emerging artists around the globe which has been the ethos at the core of his new radio show PUREWATER, to quench the thirst of music lovers. Along with his co-host Away Mally the duo is setting the stage to shine a spotlight on what they believe to be an un-mined and promising music scene in the Twin Cities.
