Dreamer Isioma (they/he) is a 21 year old, first generation Nigerian-American artist out of Chicago. Combining elements of afrobeats, alternative, indie, hip-hop, and R&B into a genre-bending sound that is tearing down genre confines and creating space for those who don’t fit into binaries. Dreamer has set out to create the representation they didn’t see growing up, as well as build belonging and community for others through their music. In the process, Dreamer has found their own healing and a deeper sense of self-love since debuting, going through a deep awakening and massive life transformation as they were catapulted into stardom.
The young phenomenon has solidified himself as one of today’s most exciting artists through their meteoric rise. Isioma has amassed 100 million career streams across catalog since debuting in 2020 and become a bonafide critical press darling, lauded by Rolling Stone, Complex, Billboard, Pigeons and Planes, Nylon, them., Wonderland and many others. Additionally, Isioma recently wrapped their debut headlining US tour including explosive performances at Lollapalooza, Austin City Limits, Firefly and others.
