Where are you from/based?
I am from Waldorf, MD.  Our company is based in Clinton, MD

Tell us about your business
We are a natural bath & body company.  That started out with making candles.  We still make candles, but our mission has been to inform the black community to be vigilant of what they are putting inside their bodies.  We do not use any harmful ingredients.  We strive for plant base products.  Although body products are placed on the outside of your skin.  Our pores are nothing but a sponge that soaks up everything eternally.  So why not be concerned about goes into you body.  African Americans have the highest rate of undefined medical conditions.  I believe this is only due to lack of knowledge.  I am here to help enlighten our community.  We are precious and we need to treat ourselves as such.

What are you business goals?
My goal for the business is to become a household name.  Along with getting the message out that less is more.  Meaning you do not need all the unnecessary ingredients.

How has COVID-19 affected you?
Honestly COVID-19 has affected me personally in a good way and heartbreaking way.  The heartbreaking part is hearing the numbers of lost ones daily, praying constantly for the ones fighting for their life and the ones on the front line.  The good part of this is that if this did not happen, I don’t think I would have slowed down anytime soon.  So I am appreciative to see that I need to enjoy life because it truly is not promised to us.

How would you like to see your business grow in the next few years?
I would like to see my business grow by being in local and national brick & mortar shops.
