With his new album, græ, coming at the top of next year, Moses Sumney returns with the second single from the project, “Polly.”

A melancholic departure from the intensity of his last single “Virile,” “Polly” is an emotional song over acoustic guitar written from the perspective of a man unhappily in a polyamorous relationship. He questions his worth to his partner and wishes he was enough to satisfy them. The song and its sentiment are literal tearjerkers as Sumney cries as he stares into the camera for the bare-bones lyric video, reminding us that sometimes love is a losing game.
