boogarins get medical in new video

I’m not gonna lie, I’m a little bit squeamish. So I admit that there are parts of Boogarins new video I had to look away from. But when the best psychedelic band on the planet right now puts out a new single, and a new video, you power through.

Clad in surgical robes, the members of Boogarins concoct a surreal medical documentary for the video for their stunning new single “Invenção” (“Invention”). Drums refract through digital noise, while the guitar twists (and twirls) beneath frontman Dino’s ethereal vocals. It’s the São Paulo band’s magic power: that they can create swirling waves of noise and sound that feel every bit as musical as the hooks.
