the return of ‘harriet tubman: demon slayer!’

If you weren’t plugged into the world of comic book geekery back in 2017, then congratulations — you’re getting a second chance with Harriet Tubman: Demon Slayer! An epic story if ever there was one, David Crownson’s hit ‘book is back for a second, expanded run. The imaginative graphic novel is based on the true life and excellence of abolitionist Harriet Tubman with a few…theatrical embellishments in the vein of Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter. Something like Django, Unchained meets Mad Max: Fury Road meets Roots. “When slave owners can’t stop the formidable ninja warrior Harriet Tubman, they call on the help of Vampires, Werewolves, Witches, & Demons to stop her. Harriet Tubman must lead a family of slaves to freedom while battling an army of darkness.”

With the first part of their story released back in 2017, the Demon Slayer team is looking to add more chapters to produce a 180-page graphic novel with a nationwide publication.
