it’s been a week, white folks

From beneath Megyn Kelly’s blonde veil of ignorance to the resurgence of Confederate pride, White America is showing its ass before the midterm elections. Just this week we’ve seen domestic terrorist attacks against the first Black president of this country to Neo-Nazis robocalling Florida voters who might be interested in having a Black governor. The U.S. of A. is a racist dumpster fire, frankly, and just in time for the midterm elections. Did we mention Kendall Jenner’s Vogue appearance in where the Mayo-Saxan sports a teased out “afro.” Oh boy, it’s been a week!

And as the week comes to an end, NBC has pulled Megyn Kelly from appearing on her own show after her Blackface comments landed her in hot water, but reeaaaaaallly, NBC? Isn’t this what you wanted when you hired a woman who once protested that imaginary figures like Santa Clause *could not* be Black and HAD to be White? White-centric ignorance and cultural cluelessness? Like ABC’s Rosanne reboot, wasn’t blonde-haired Kelly your #TrumpCard? White folks play like they don’t get it until you act wild as hell and their show gets canceled. But really, y’all just love showing y’alls asses, huh? Oh, well.
