Lena Dunham has built her whole career around white feminism. If one pays even the slightest attention to her hit HBO show Girls, her “feminist” publication Lenny Letter, or her many ridiculous public statements, they would be able to see through the pervasive racist controversy and realize her brand of fighting sexism is for white women only.

The latest example of this comes in the form of her response to fellow actress Aurora Perrineau’s allegations that Girls writer and friend of Dunham’s Murray Miller raped her when she was only 17. Only days before the accusation was made public, Dunham sought to capitalize on the viral #MeToo movement, tweeting, “Things women don’t lie about: rape”:

As is the M.O. of white feminists, by “women” Dunham obviously meant “white women,” and so when Perrineau—who is the daughter of Black actor Harold Perrineau—broke her story, Dunham backpedaled as quickly as racistly possible.

“While our first instinct is to listen to every woman’s story,” Dunham wrote in a statement to Hollywood Reporter along with co-showrunner Jenni Konner, “our insider knowledge of Murray’s situation makes us confident that sadly this accusation is one of the 3 percent of assault cases that are misreported every year.”

Faced with intense internet backlash, which included a Lenny Letter writer accusing Dunham of “hipster racism” and vowing to never write for the publication again, Dunham would later give a typically shallow non-apology, and Miller would go on to retract a lie that Perrineau attempted to extort him. But that’s not the end of the story.

Now, Harold Perrineau is speaking out, warning Dunham and her racist friends that they have “fucked with the wrong family”:

Hell hath no fury like a father scorned. The Los Angeles Police Department is currently investigating the allegations against Miller, and it looks like the Perrineau’s aren’t giving up anytime soon, white feminism be damned.
