In a recent interview with the Hollywood Reporter, Toronto rapper Drake confessed that he has been collecting uber-coveted Hermès Birkin bags for years, he says, as a gift for “the woman I end up with one day”. Sure, okay.

Typically, Birkin bags retail from anywhere between $12,000 to $300,000. Seriously. The “Hotline Bling” singer says that he started collecting them because of how well they retain their value. Very true, Drake.

While some have called the, uh, collection romantic, I’d like to tell Drake that it’s totally fine for him to like purses. Ain’t gotta lie to kick it, Drake. Nobody cares that you got beaucoup purses at the crib, pimpin’. And it sure makes more sense than saving up your own purse dowery.
