“I AM TX” follows a black punk band on their last night of tour, and the obstacles, microaggressions and outright racism they encounter before getting on stage. The band is portrayed by three key figures from Austin’s music scene: Jonathan Horstmann (from the AFROPUNK alum band BLXPLTN), Audrey Campbell (Pleasure Venom), and Greg Williams (Chief and thedoomsdaydevice).
