- When is AFROPUNK BLKTOPIA BKLYN?
- AFROPUNK BLKTOPIA BKLYN will take place on August 23 – 24, 2024 from 1 – 10 PM ET at the Lena Horne Bandshell in Prospect Park, in partnership with BRIC Celebrate Brooklyn!
- What is AFROPUNK BLKTOPIA?
- BLKTOPIA is a space where the designs of oppression are dismantled and the benefits of sustainability accrue to all. It’s about crafting a reality grounded in justice and equity, where every member of the Black diaspora can be set up to flourish. Rooted in the pillars of innovation, discovery, empowerment, artistry and social change, BLKTOPIA is not just a concept, rather a call to action.

- Please submit all requests to the AFROPUNK press team at press@afropunk.com by August 14th.
- How do I request a press credential?
- Requests for press credentials can be submitted here by August 14th. Our press team will provide formal responses on a rolling basis.
- Disclaimer: Please note that credential registration via the provided form is not a confirmation. You will receive a confirmation email when your request is approved. You will need this confirmation email and a form of identification in order to pick up your press credential on-site.
- Press credential requests must be submitted online by August 14th and cannot be made on site during the event.
- If approved for credentials, will Essence cover my accommodations?
- ESSENCE will not reimburse travel and associated lodging costs and should be booked by the individual attending.
