This weekend, Brooklyn transforms into the epicenter of Black creativity and rebellion as AFROPUNK BLKTOPIA takes center stage. With a lineup that celebrates the vibrancy of Black culture and the fearless spirit of the underground, this year’s performers promise to push boundaries, challenge norms, and create a space where artistry meets revolution. Amari Marshall

No stranger to the AFROPUNK stage, Choreographer Amari Marshall will join us in Brooklyn this weekend as the host to the festivities. You may remember her electrifying stage performances each day at the ESSENCE Festival of Culture back in July.

House Of Juicy Couture

Prepare to be gagged by the House Of Juicy Couture, where we’re vogueing for visibility. The collective will take center stage at this year’s Fancy Ball on the festival grounds. The ball will be hosted by the one and only Julz Romell and headlined by Infinite Coles, this is something you won’t want to miss. Not to mention, the ball will be judged by ESSENCE Ventures CEO, Caroline Wanga, along with Kai The Black Angel, and Robot Moon Juice.

Breezy Supreme

Breezy Supreme is a sonic force. Blending genres like hip-hop, electronic, and punk, his sound is as eclectic as it is powerful. At BLKTOPIA, Breezy Supreme is expected to deliver a performance that challenges conventional music boundaries, pushing the audience to rethink what it means to be “alternative” in a Black space.

Hue

The band Hue, known for their fusion of jazz, soul, and electronic music, brings a spectrum of sound to the festival. Winter Wolf

Brooklyn’s own Rebelmatic brings raw, unapologetic punk energy to BLKTOPIA. Their sound, a blend of hardcore punk and hip-hop, is as gritty as the streets they come from. DJ Moma

DJ Moma, a staple in the New York City music scene, is the master of creating a vibe. His sets, which seamlessly blend Afrobeat, hip-hop, house, and more, are known for keeping the dance floor packed.

Durand Bernarr

Durand Bernarr is a rising star in the soul music scene, known for his incredible vocal range and genre-blurring style. His music, which incorporates elements of R&B, jazz, and funk, is both innovative and deeply rooted in the Black musical tradition.

Larissa Luz
