Solange Makes History As The First Black Woman To Compose For NYC Ballet
Solange Knowles has made history by being the first Black woman to compose the score for the Fall Fashion Gala. The famed singer took to her social media platforms announcing “Very excited to announce I’ve composed an original score for the New York City Ballet” to her followers. Knowles will be composing music to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the event, where the ballet’s VC, Sarah Jessica Parker will be honored.
