Nu-Punk Quartet Cherie Amour Has What You Need On “Love’s Not Your Thing”

July 21, 2022

“my cherie amour,
can’t do this anymore
you like us better
when we’re crashing crashing down”

There’s few acts in the scene right now with a sound as unique as Cherie Amour. The nu-punk quartet’s approach finds them blending driving emo verses with sublime R&B hooks in a way that instantly captures your attention. Their latest “Love’s Not Your Thing” features their most infectious work yet (complete with the line that gave the band their name). Vocalist Trey Miller switches gears throughout the song spilling out a fractured tale of doomed love. The band’s vivid arrangements are matched in a video that’s heavy on vibrant colors and technicolor energy.

The band is headed on tour this August, so follow Cherie Amour on socials @cherieamourband for more.
