AFROPUNK returns to ATLANTA for the annual global festival taking place at the Atlantic Station Pinnacle this September 25th & 26th. The lineup for the weekend-long, annual celebration, includes headlining acts such as Wale & The Ppl, a LIVE band bringing DC’s “go-go” party to the ATL, Smino, Rico Nasty, Dungeon Family’s KP The Great & Friends and features acts like Tems who will perform for the first time in the US, Fousheé, Serpentwithfeet, Tkay Maidza, Amindi, Liv.e, Lesibu Grand, Hollow Sinatra and many more. AFROPUNK ATLANTA 2021 represents AFROPUNK’s emergence from a pandemic-induced hiatus through a weekend-long music-led experience gathering producers, supporters, allies, and consumers of black culture. Each festival day will include a unique lineup of curated music performances and culturally relevant programming.

AFROPUNK has been synonymous with Black freedom of expression in a myriad of forms, connecting the diaspora through the celebration of music, art, food, fashion, and community outreach programs. This year’s theme of “WE GOT US” hones in on the message of self-reliance and self-determination within the Black community and is an invitation to celebrate Black culture unapologetically.

AFROPUNK ATLANTA festival goers will have the opportunity to engage in a diverse range of entertainment including everything from politics and social justice, meditation and Black self-care, to the trend-setting cultural hot-takes emanating within the Black community.
