premier: there’s pure and untainted summertime love in espacio dios’ new visuals for his single “naledi”
There are a few things in this world that are better than the feeling of Summertime love, when you’re with your person and everything just seems so perfect. In the new video for “Naledi”, from his his debut album, Son of Uri, South African born producer, Espacio Dios, captures this feeling perfectly within a few frames. Featuring long time collaborator, Muzi alongside songstress, Thando Nje, The Clout Killed The Kids produced video follows two young lovers as they enjoy each other’s company in the streets of Johannesburg’s suburbia on a sunny afternoon. The concept of the video is pretty simple, but manages to capture the emotions of pure bliss by using close up shots of hands, lips, perfectly framing the surreal moments between the young couple.
Espacio Dios’ debut album Son of Uri is a 13-track record heavily influenced by diversity of language and English, Setswana, Swahili and Zulu culture. The album depicts how both darkness and light can be positive and negative forces according to Espacio’s life experiences. You can stream Son of Uri here.
