fka twigs announces tour and new album, ‘magadalene’
Fresh off of her spectacular performance at AFROPUNK Brooklyn, FKA twigs has announced upcoming tour dates in support of her just-announced album, Magdalene. Following a series of North American shows and a number of international appearances this spring, the LP1 singer says on Twitter that “Preparing the MAGDALENE show has been my most ambitious undertaking, and the thought of sharing it with a wider audience is thrilling.” According to a recent interview she did with i-D, the album will be self-produced with contributions by Nicolas Jaar, among others. It will also feature a song with rapper Future called “Holy Terrain.” And if it’s anything like this year’s “Cellophane,” fans are in for a treat.
