This one’s special! Ahead of his gig at AFROPUNK Paris this weekend, the incredible Luso-Brazilian DJ, Shaka Lion has graced us with 45 minutes of riddim conjuring. If you have not yet heard Shaka Lion —  Brazilian-born reggae dub stylist, member of the mighty Soulelction, a respected regular amongst the global selectors of Lisboa and London and Luanda, fluent in beats from across the global South and the Black Atlantic — get to know him now.

About this incredible set of music, Shaka Lion wrote to us: “Its a mix with more than half material produced between Brasil and Portugal by friends of mine mixed with global sounds.” A man with some incredibly talented friends, he did not answer any of our follow-up questions — but he did give us a track list.
