the trailer for “the last black man in san francisco” is officially out!

Back in January, The Last Black Man in San Francisco premiered at Sundance. The story by director and screenwriter Joe Talbot details the quest of a Jimmie Fails played by Jimmie Fails in a semi-autobiographical role. Jimmie and his best friend search to belong in their rapidly changing city and recapture the magic they grew up in. The trailer has finally come out and looks as promising as the concept. This is the honest Black perspective to gentrification that the film industry has needed and it seems to be in the exact right hands. We’re impatiently waiting for the film.
