jordan peele channels rod serling in ‘twilight zone’ teaser

Wearing his actor cap, writer/director Jordan Peele channeled the likes of Twilight Zone creator Rod Serling for a sneak preview of his adaptation of the mid-century sci-fi series. And what better time to tease the mind-bending reboot than during the Super Bowl? Appearing in a glitched-out promo clip, Peele embodied the spooky calm of the Twilight Zone’s original host, inviting us into a world removed from time and space.

“Witness an empty space, filled with thousands of screaming people. A man, both nowhere and everywhere at the same time, answers our new questions,” Peele says, “The unthinkable is the expected. When truth is not the truth, what dimension are you even in?” Oh, sh*t!

The rebooted series doesn’t debut until April 1st on CBS, but the few glimpses and news we’ve got so far is really promising. Set to join Peele on this supernatural adventure are Jessica Williams, Adam Scott, John Cho, Kumail Nanjiani, Steven Yeun, and Allison Tolman.
