blade becomes newest marvel avenger

Before we had the King of Wakanda, there was Wesley Snipes as Blade. When a massive war between the humans and vampires break out, Captain Marvel, Thor and team recruit the half-human, half-vampire hybrid to the Avengers’ mission to kill hundreds if not thousands of vampires.

As die-hard fans know, this isn’t the first time the Black vamp has crossed over and kicked ass with the heroes of the Marvel Comics Universe. In the past, he has teamed up with Doctor Strange’s Occult strike force and helped Spider-Man take on Morbius the Living Vampire, all before operating as a Mighty Avenger in disguise in Avengers: Endgame. In Avenger #14 we see Blade take on an airplane filled with vampires as Captin Marvel plays emergency pilot. All of this takes place as the war with the vamps breaks out in Transylvania. But the Avengers are no match for bloodthirsty vampires and it becomes clear that their only hope for victory lies with Blade.
