andy allo & lena waithe show how ‘angels make love’

The singer-songwriter/actress Andy Allo has been spreading her wings for a few years now, most famously as a one-time member of Prince’s New Power Generation. (The legendary musician famously said that Andy would be “leading her own revolution soon.”) Now, Andy has a new single called “Angels Make Love,” which features a gorgeous video directed by Sean Frank and executive produced by none other than Lena Waithe.

According to Andy, the video is a “beautiful expression of falling in love with someone of the same sex.” And its sentiment, its beauty and its open-heartedness — all apparent in the expressive dancing of Khadija Shari — are undeniable.
