RIHANNA DENIES THE NFL A SUPERBOWL HALFTIME SHOW

Let’s pour one up for Rihanna shutting down the Super Bowl halftime show, y’all!
Bad girl Riri reportedly was the NFL’s first choice for the highly coveted halftime performance, but ultimately she’s siding with Colin Kaepernick.
This move doesn’t seem to prop Riri up in any way. She’s reportedly prepping a 10-track dancehall album that’s bound to be bop, as well as a tour in tow. 2019’s Super Bowl 53 could’ve proved lucrative for her and the project, but “Oh na-na.”
ET reported Pink was also a choice after Rihanna, but both aren’t touching that stage. Which leaves us with the only five dudes brave enough to perform: Maroon 5…in Atlanta.
According The Source, Jay-Z also denied NFL’s offer for 2018’s halftime show. Instead, they got Justin…Justin Timberlake.
It’s crazy to think that Kaepernick first kneeled in Sept 2016, and the ripples of his actions are reaching global brands and global stars. With Rihanna, Jay-Z, and even Pink staying away from the NFL and sticking with Kap, we are about to see these halftime shows go the milky way.
