The president of the Unites States is a racist. He been racist. It’s likely, he will always be racist, so the liberal “shock and horror” that follows each racist rant is, quite frankly, tiring. Trump has shown us time and again that he is not the sharpest tool in the box so his bigotry is literally pulled from the basic-ass handbook that has shaped racist rhetoric in America for centuries.

The racist assertion that Black people are inherently less intelligent than white people is literally the foundation of racism. Colonizers got away with stealing Africans off the continent by concocting a bogus narrative of Black people being subhuman in physical form and intelligence – it’s a narrative that has shifted, adapted and survived till this day. It has survived in instances like the “Leader of the Free World” feeling so comfortable in his racism to call NBA living legend and philanthropic hero Lebron James “dumb”. It survives when Putin Jr. fixes his stubby twitter fingers to call Omorosa Manigault Newman a “lowlife” and a “dog”.

Firstly, the pure delusion that racism thrives off is astounding! Secondly, one way white people out themselves as racist is the way they talk about people of color they disagree with. The basketball star called out Trump’s divisive antics, angering the president in a way on logic and compassion can. James went on CNN and told Don Lemon “What I’ve noticed over the past few months is he’s kinda used sports to kinda divide us, and that’s something that I can’t relate to.” The NBA icon spoke about peaceful forms of dissent being twisted by Trump and his racist base in order to reframe the narrative away from the actual issue of police brutality and social justice issues in America. James also went on to talk about the opportunities afforded to him through sports to learn about people that didn’t look like him. “Sports was the first time I was ever around someone white,” revealed the four-time NBA MVP. “I got an opportunity to see them and learn about them, and they got the opportunity to learn about me … And I was like, ‘Oh wow, this is all because of sports.”

Manigault Newman, on the other hand, received Trump backlash because she revealed that she recorded conversations inside the White House while also alluding to a tape existing that has the president saying the “N-word”. First and foremost, we know that man has said the “N-word” – that tape surfacing will likely bolster his numbers among his base. Second, how dare he make us defend Omorosa! The woman is an opportunist like few we have ever seen but what we are NOT going to do let this man call a Black woman a “dog”.

The racism didn’t even jump out. It’s been out. It emerged the moment he got off that escalator and it managed Trump’s campaign. At this stage, he should stop pretending and just say it with his chest. It would be the most honest thing he EVER did.
