Try not to die, ‘Yoncé and fashion lovers, Vogue’s September 2018 issue just dropped and it’s pretty freakin’ great. A collaborative effort between Beyoncé, who was given unprecedented creative control over the issue, and HBIC Anna Wintour, this marks the magazine’s first time featuring a black photographer on the cover —ever— in Vogue’s 168-year history. Celebrated visual artist Gordon Parks, was the first Black photographer featured inside the fashion bible so many years ago, and now 23-year-old Tyler Mitchell, is not only amongst the youngest photographers ever to showcase inside Vogue, but he’s the first artist to look like him to shoot a cover.

Such a special accomplishment for the Marietta, GA.-raised artist, cannot wait to cop my issue!
