“A Fight Worth Finishing” is a non-fiction book that follows 25-year-old author Jamsmin Pierre, who, after seven years of suffering from Major Depressive Disorder, overdoses on prescription medication the week before her 26th birthday. After being released from the hospital, Pierre embarks on the road trip that saves her life. On the road, Pierre finds that not only is she stronger than ever, but her life has value and her voice even more so. Part one of a two part self-help series, “A Fight Worth Finishing” aims to educate others about mental health and provide a beacon of hope for everyone living with depression.
