sneak peek of jill scott as ‘black lightning’ supervillain lady eve

Black Lightning just keeps getting better and better! The first look at soul singer and actress Jill Scott as the show’s new villain Lady Eve was released by EW. Eve makes her debut on the superhero drama next Tuesday.

According to EW, “Lady Eve bridges the gap between a secret group of corrupt leaders and the One Hundred Gang leader Tobias Whale (Marvin ‘Krondon’ Jones III)… Although she presents herself as the owner of a funeral parlor, she quickly becomes an adversary for Black Lightning (Cress Williams), who has started causing problems for Krondon’s criminal business since returning after nine years away.”

And, from the image below, it doesn’t look like her relationship with Tobias is all peaceable either! Will she take his spot as the most fearsome villain on the show? Find out Tuesday on the CW!
