The collective has voted and we’ve decided on a new term for when someone deflects from an awful and systematic occurrence with, “but what about the good guys?”: Matt Damoning.

It’s like #NotAllMen times 3. Example: Cops continue to kill Black kids with impunity, and conservatives Matt Damon in an effort to shut up chants of Black Lives Matter with “there are good cops out there, too!”

The vote comes on the heels of the 2nd most rich white malest interview ever, where the actor lamented to Business Insider about the attention on sexual violence in Hollywood that has been brought with the #MeToo movement and Harvey Weinstein scandal.

“We’re in this watershed moment, and it’s great, but I think one thing that’s not being talked about is there are a whole s—load of guys — the preponderance of men I’ve worked with — who don’t do this kind of thing and whose lives aren’t going to be affected,” Damon said while promoting his new movie, Downsizing, opening in theaters Friday.

This after Damon told Rolling Stone‘s Peter Travers in the 1st most rich white malest interview ever that there was a “spectrum of behavior” to consider when it comes to sexual violence.

“There’s a difference between, you know, patting someone on the butt and rape or child molestation, right?” Damon said. “Both of those behaviors need to be confronted and eradicated, without question, but they shouldn’t be conflated, right?”

Someone is trying to preemptively make excuses for themselves, methinks.

Bye, Jason Bourne!
