these lost photos of prince will give you all the feels

It’s been over a year since the symbol passed away, but we still haven’t gotten over it. Thanks to his enduring legacy and now a new book from Cassell, Picturing Prince: An Intimate Portrait, we don’t have to.

According to The Cut, Picturing Prince (released September 5) “aims to add depth to Prince’s public persona.” The book features never-before-seen photographs of the late legend by Steve Parke, Prince’s former art director, including 16 pages of lost photographs. The intimate images illuminate the pop star’s iconic gender-bending style, and are published alongside vignettes from Parke revealing different facets of their relationship.
