Cyndia Harvey is a Jamaican-born, London-based hair stylist and former assistant to Sam McKnight who has been making waves in the fashion industry. The artist has always been passionate about her heritage, and her work seeks to highlight the beauty of her roots. Her latest project, This Hair of Mine, is a collaborative photo series with Ronan McKenzie, an East London photographer whose work revolves around showcasing the Black figure. The series features Black models with a variety of extravagant hairstyles in front of monochromatic backgrounds that perfectly highlights their beauty.
