new music: industrial hip-hop band death grips are working on a new album, reveal 22-minute apocalyptic track
As fans eagerly anticipate a follow up to Sacramento-based Death Grips’ Bottomless Pit dropped last year, the industrial hip-hop/punk band just shared a new extended track to hold them over. Confirming that they are also working on a new album, Death Grips released “Steroids (Crouching Tiger Hidden Gabber Megamix)” in a short Facebook post yesterday:
Since last year’s album, band members Zach Hill and Andy Morin have been releasing new music as the I.L.Y’s, dropping the album Bodyguard earlier this month. The new Death Grips album will their sixth altogether.
Just over 22 minutes long, “Steroids (Crouching Tiger Hidden Gabber Megamix)” features a barrage of sick breakdowns, vocals and harsh noise. Check out the apocalyptic track below!:
