black queer romantic comedy ‘kismet’ leaves love up to fate

May 9, 2017

Directed by Arnetta Randall and staring Alexandria Franklin and Milon V Parker, ‘Kismet’ is a short romantic comedy about queer love, heartbreak, and fate. The story follows a broken-hearted Jessica who, by a chance of fate, meets charismatic Jada. Reluctant to let a new person in, and after some unexpected events, it seems like these two just can’t work. Unless a force of destiny brings them back together.
