black ballerinas: digital museum houses the untold history of blacks in ballet
MOBBallet is a riveting, on-going visual project archiving the “memories of black ballet”. A living, breathing record of blacks in ballet, stored and lovingly displayed in this digital museum, which features archival footage as well as oral histories. As the collection grows, MOBBallet intends to expand to physical installations and conversational forums. Want to get involved with this project? Donations to MOBBallet can be made, here. They are also looking for writers, videographers, photographers, and more, learn about that, here.
