January 20, 2017

Rejoice in the abundance of Black & Brown brilliance! NYU law student Aditi Juneja had the idea to crowdsource information and strategies for liberation and turn it into a resource for folks organizing and creating tangible change. The final result of her hard work and collaboration is The Resistance Manual. Prominent activists joined in to support and contribute, including but not limited to Campaign Zero’s Samuel Sinyangwe andDeray McKesson. In an interview with NBC, Juneja said, “After the election, we knew we needed to shift focus. I started making a Google Doc and tables to keep track of different policies and what is going to happen to them.” The website includes essential readings to give context to each of the issues, state and local pages to get hip to the specifics in your location, and a policy-by-policy breakdown of each of the things Trump is aiming to change. It’s completely free and you can help contribute to it through submissions. Now start reading and get active! We are the people we’re waiting for. It’s in our hands.
