new web series follows one woman’s quest to be the best comic book artist ever

”Have you ever had a dream?” The main character of ‘One Story Building,’ the new web series by creator & executive producer Donovan Crony, asks this in earnest to the owner of Shoreline Comics in the hopes that she can gain a job there while working on becoming the best comic book artist…ever. ‘One Story Building’ is about Historia “Story” Tolentino who lives in Long Beach, CA who befriends a girl from New York named Yoyo, who is searching for her true calling in life and Yoyo’s cousin, Michael, who owns Shoreline Comics. Life happens and they learn how to figure it out together, so this is part coming of age story and part millennial creative support group. To top it all off, Shoreline Comics is a real place! By filming on location at a black owned comic shop and keeping the name the team hopes tobetter promote this local business. The showrunners are all people of color working as comedians, actors, and writers, so basically it’s your duty to support, right?
