afropunk alum/r&b singer sza tweets “i actually quit” after record label appears to delays the highly-anticipated follow-up to her 2014 project, ‘z’
AFROPUNK alum SZA seemingly ended her relationship with Top Dawg Entertainment and possibly the music industry altogether. In a now deleted tweet addressing Top Dawg co-president Terrence “Punch” Henderson, the R&B singer vented frustrations about, what appears to be, the delay of the highly-anticipated follow up to 2014’s album ‘Z’. “I actually quit . @iamstillpunch can release my album if he ever feels like it. Y’all be blessed.” In response, Punch tweeted “lol” alongside a photo of Heath Ledger’s Joker. Esh. You can still see SZA at AFROPUNK Atlanta next weekend, Oct. 14-16. Get tickets here.
