new music: get lost in yves tumor’s psychedelic soul on “the feeling when you walk away” #soundcheck

Though originally intended as a soul record, Yves Tumor’s forthcoming Serpent Music has evolved into something more rooted in psychedelia and sound collage. The latest single “The Feeling When Yo Walk Away” rides a minimal guitar lick and turns the reverb up to 11, adds another reverb deck, and cuts the dry signal entirely. You don’t so much listen to Yves Tumor as much as drown in it. The new record comes out September 23rd. Get your scuba gear ready.
