video premiere: chicago-based electro-soul duo drama shares video for incredibly listenable ‘forevers gone’
Check out electro duo DRAMA’s newest music video, ‘Forever Gone’—an incredible listable electronic-soul groove about dreaming of the perfect man (or relationship), finding him, and realizing that you don’t need him to be awesome or feel as fulfilled as you originally thought. “But if he’s not on bullshit, you’re ready to love him far beyond forever which is pretty much my life right now (sighs),” Via Rosa tells AFROPUNK.
If this is your first time hearing these guys, DRAMA is the collaborative effort of Na’el Shehade and Via Rosa, two Chicago-based creatives who met through mutual friends before discovering their like-minded musical connection. “This track is still funny to me cause Na’el hated this beat, he made it 3yrs ago and didn’t even think anyone would like it but i assured him i could write to it. I came back maybe a week later with some lyrics, I recorded it and came back a week later and was like WOAH! It sounded crazy,” Via Rosa says. Watch ‘Forever Gone’, below.
