With the release of her latest track ‘Prayer‘, Canadian-born rapper Tasha the Amazon is changing the tone for female rappers. The stronger she roars, the more she shifts previous interpretations of women in a previously male-dominated medium.’Prayer‘, with its rich beat and potent, relatable lyrics, is the second official single from the rap priestess and the the perfect vibe for an ever-blooming platform. Tasha’s infectious chorus and unapologetic griminess is a much needed leap from the stereotypical definition of women in general.
