video premiere: trinidadian alt / pop singer annalie prime crafts the perfect summer jam with “strong” #soundcheck

If there’s any silver lining to my car’s AC being busted during the hottest week in human history, it’s a track like Annalie Prime’s “Strong.” An infectious summer jam, this is the kind of song that practically demands to be blasted with the windows down on the way to the beach. So that’s what I’m gonna do. The AC will fix itself. (If you ignore a problem long enough it goes away on its own, right?) The Trinidadian alt / pop singer is still in college, but she’s already garnering some serious attention, despite having only released two songs. The world may be getting hotter, but at least we can look forward to more from Annalie Prime to help us chill.
