The single “Beasts” from Maryland-based duo April + VISTA is a rich listening experience for all. Serving as an introduction for their newest EP “Note to Self” – out July 28th- this ‘vibing’ track initiates a dedication among audiences that can only be attributed to the connection both musicians create with their work. The grounded yet layered orchestrations from VISTA play as the perfect background for the passionate intonations of April George’s vocals. Along with the vivid percussion and repetitive progressions of both instrumentals and the voices- listeners are transported into a lulling space of responsiveness and rhythm.
