Oakland-based web-series The Third Space, hosted by Faiza Farah and produced by a media company of the same name, sits down with some of the Bay’s black and brown movers and shakers, creatives and innovators, documenting their stories and experiences. Last season they sat down with comedian and former host of Totally Biased, W. Kamau Bell who discussed the extremities success and set-backs, gentrification, and re-shaping law enforcement and 2015 James Beard Foundation Leadership Award-winning chef, educator, and author Bryant Terry to talked sustainable food systems and building a conversation about healthy eating and nutrition in the black community.
