The Austin, TX-based industrial-punk hip hop collective BLXPLTN (Blaxploitation) is back with new music in their latest release “FEMA”—a bombastic, post-industrial track that takes on the failures of FEMA. “Performed our new song called FEMA, then a ex-FEMA employee came up to us in tears and said she was sorry and that we were right. Wow. #woke,” the band Tweeted earlier this month. Like many greats before them, including revolutionary rockers Rage Against The Machine, BLXPLTN uses their hard-hitting music to explore themes related to social justice for LGBTQIA community, people of color, and other disenfranchised and marginalized groups. Take a listen to the powerful, in-your-face “FEMA” down below.

BLXPLTN’s sophomore album “New York Fascist Week” comes out tomorrow, April 19.
