new music: judas priestess and swear on your life frontwoman militia vox drops second single, ‘born out of darkness’

January 22, 2016

Judas Priestess and Swear On Your Life frontwoman Militia Vox (aka MilitiA.) is back for the new year with a new solo track called ‘Born Out Of Darkness’. Vox describes the song, a throbbing post-industrial banger, as “an anthem for badasses”, and I’m inclined to agree. ‘Born Out of Darkness’ sounds of understated heaviness and cinematic darkness, which relies heavily on distorted banging-sounds (official term), a tight baseline, and the distant and haunting vocals of Militia.

‘Born Out Of Darkness’ is the second single from Militia Vox’s sophomore album, ‘The Villainess’, due later this year.
