new music: jules born’s latest single “fine doubt” is infectious #soundcheck

Jules Born’s last record Memorybilia has remained a steady part of my musical diet since coming across it last year, so I was excited to hear his latest single. “Fine Doubt” is a similarly impressive single, effortlessly catchy, but with some serious emotional weight. The beat, reminiscent of Gordon Voidwell’s production immediately gives way to a distorted bassline that’s half dance half gothic, while Jules Born’s vocals shimmer and sway in the wind.
