September 16, 2015

Listen to the new single from British Grunge/Punk trio Skinny Girl Diet – ‘Silver Spoons’. The track is from the rockers’ new EP, ‘Reclaim Your Life’ EP (out 16th October). The band consist of D (guitar and vocals), U (drums and vocals), and A (bass and vocals); and their camp state that their name “screams repulsion, feminism and politics. Using it as a social commentary on the slim fast culture they’ve grown up surrounded by”. Their camp adds, “These three girls from North London aren’t your average teenagers. Incorporating influences from the Riot Grrrl movement and in the heavily male dominated punk/grunge scene, their modern take is something new”. Stream the new track below. Also, catch Skinny Girl Diet on October 20th for their EP Launch at the MOTH CLUB in Hackney (CLICK HERE for more info).
