Check out Nigerian visual artist Eca Eps and her bold ongoing ‘Naked in Africa’ project. An artist focused mainly on religious violence and the oppression of women, Eps describes her latest work as “a long-term multidisciplinary project exploring modes of activism and resistance through performance, intervention, installation, photography and sculpture.” She tells us, “My practice is centered on methods of individual resistance and how it intersects with limitations imposed by tradition culture and society.” Explore below.
