afropunk premiere: the 2-in-1 offering from jazz artists léla sophia and olmac dah – ‘serenity/love’s prayer’

September 4, 2015

Today we’re premiering the soulful new release from Léla Sophia and OlMac Dah, ‘Serenity/Love’s Prayer’. The 2-in-1 release is described by their camp as “two different songs spliced together, in which the two serve as a response to the other”. OlMac Dah (the alter ego of emerging jazz artist Dahi Divine) and Moroccan and European singer-songwriter Léla Sophia are both recent graduates of The New School for Jazz and Contemporary Music (the same school where Robert Glasper and Jesse Boykins III studied). Listen to their latest offering below.
