feature: ‘niobe: she is life’ – amandla stenberg’s upcoming comic book

Check out the cover of Amandla Stenberg’s new comic book, ‘Niobe: She Is Life’ (out in November). According to Bleeding Cool, the actress and activist was working on a prose novel ‘Niobe’ with fantasy author and publisher Sebastian A. Jones; however the planned novel has now been turned into a comic, with illustrations from Chicago artist Ashley A Woods. In regards to the main character, the creators state: “Niobe Ayutami is an orphaned wild elf teenager and would-be savior of the vast and volatile fantasy world of Asunda. She is running from a past where the Devil himself would see her damned… toward an epic future that patiently waits for her to bind nations against the hordes of Hell!” See the cover below. FYI this comic is connected to ‘The Untamed; A Sinner’s Prayer‘ dark fantasy series that we featured earlier this year.
